Casita de las Flores is
San Miguel's affordable, comfortable, friendly, and less stuffy alternative to expensive San Miguel de Allende hotels and B&B's. Based on the concept of the European pension or guest house, Casita de las Flores is far more private than a hostel and yet more personal and less expensive than San Miguel hotels. We're also a little different from bed & breakfasts in San Miguel. Besides being kinder to your budget (and more fun) than a regular old overpriced B and B, we offer a fully-equipped kitchen where guests can cook any time. Not only can you can eat what you want when you want, but you can spend all the cash you save on adventures or shopping!

Since 2002, the Casita has been San Miguel's charming little B&K (Bed and Kitchen)—offering clean, comfortable, pretty accommodations at very good prices. Casita de las Flores is simply a great place to call home during your visit to San Miguel de Allende.

We are located in the Colonia Allende, a typical residential neighborhood, just a 20-minute stroll from San Miguel's historic jardin, or town square, and a ten-minute walk from the Instituto Allende art and Spanish school. (The city bus runs right outside our main gate and cabs are very cheap and readily available, if you don't feel like walking.)

We cater especially to travelers, adventurers and artists of all ages who are interested in visiting the real San Miguel, not a fancy gringo version of it. If this is you, the Casita is the perfect place to stay while pursuing your interests, be they Spanish, art, photography, yoga or jewelry classes, shopping at our great markets and boutiques, or just a relaxing vacation. Recently named a Unesco World Heritage Site, San Miguel de Allende is one of Mexico's most exquisite and best-preserved historic colonial towns. But it's no stuffy museum or boring history lesson. San Miguel has a hopping nightlife and restaurant scene and offers more entertainment options than many much larger cities.
